Hello! I am a recent graduate of SUNY Potsdam with a double major in music and psychology. Starting in fall 2022, I will begin graduate studies at Yeshiva University for their School-Clinical Child Psychology program.

Animals and pets are such an important part of a family! Personally, I grew up with dogs, a lab and a Rhodesian ridgeback. (I have plenty of personal experience walking large dogs who may not have the best leash or walking behavior). My grandparents used to own a dog kennel, and when I visited, they taught me that each dog has their own personality and should be treated with care and respect. This experience showed me that it is not always appropriate to run up to dogs on the street and expect them to show affection and kindness, when they perhaps have a traumatic history or are easily spooked. When I meet new animals, I always let them approach me first and let them become used to my presence.

I've had numerous experiences taking care of animals - including a few times on a small farm where there was 3 cats, 2 rabbits, 1 guinea pig, 1 (large) horse, 2 dogs, and many fish tanks! In addition, I was a dog walker on Rover, where I had 2 consistent clients of dogs I walked every week. I've also been a trusted house-sitter in one home with 2 cats, an English mastiff, and many plants that needed to be watered.
