Chanel was very responsive and showed up as expected for her first day of training. When she left she said she would send a reference and would start working the following week. I texted her to confirm and she ghosted us completely. She should have communicated to us that she wasn’t taking the job, but instead she just didn’t respond to text messages. This was unprofessional and left us in a bind with childcare for the following week.
