I am Jenny, a proud, doting fur Mommy to two beautiful Shelties, and one very sassy, senior Teacup Chihuaha . I am a current foster home and volunteer for Peppertree Rescue, and, a prior foster home/volunteer for Whiskers Feline Rescue. I possess a multitude of experience with various breeds, age, temperament, and medical/health needs. I am certified in Pet CPR/First Aid as well as Adult & Infant CPR/AED/First Aid.

Growing up with a father that was very proud of our Native American heritage, I often found myself exploring nature at a young age. During my explorative journeys, I found myself not only at peace, but, began to find animals as magnificent, intriguing, and mysterious. I began to read, study, and learn about any and every animal I could discover. I often spent many hours out in the woods with a book in hand, binoculars and snacks in my backpack, and Snoopy, my loyal canine companion by my side.

As the years went by, I was affectionately referred to as "Snow White" as I was drawn to animals, and they to me. Our home was constantly filled with injured and abandoned birds, rabbits, and various wildlife which I dedicated myself to rehabbing and releasing.

Since my childhood, I have never stopped my studies of animals, and, my love for them has only grown. In the most recent years, I have fostered almost 40 dogs, 15 cats, and, a raccoon or two :) As mentioned, I also have my own- Brady & Chloe (the dynamic Sheltie duo) and Ladybug, the 15 year old sassy Chi! My home has always been open to animals-of any kind, and that is where I find true happiness and solace.

In my years of fostering, as you can imagine, I have come across a wide variety of health needs, quirky personalities, and different stages of life. All of the animals I foster, dog sit, and care for are all treated with the same attention, love, and compassion that I have for my own.

I am in my early 30's and have spent the past 10 years in a successful career in the financial industry. While I am grateful for the experience, it is time to return to my passion, & what makes my heart happy-animals! After several poor experiences with dog sitters, I have made it my goal to provide families with a safe, loving experience where I will provide extreme thorough care to your pet and you can rest assured that your pet is happy and loved!
