Big time animal lover ❤️ I grew up locally raising calves on a small dairy farm. My experience begins there. As an adult, I have been a milker, received my certification for vet technician and have been an Asst. Herdsman. I also have managed a calf barn. That was equipped with my own personal office and attached infirmary as I called it, for keeping a watchful eye on newborns developing illness. I have as well been on numerous farm calls, assisting with deliveries and emergencies. I am currently in a different field for my career, as a Special Education TA. Due to COVID-19, I am out of work and would love come back to farm work I so desperately miss. Farm life is in my blood. I am a natural born animal enthusiast. I’ve delivered over 90 calves with no losses, and I have never had any significant incident or injuries. I’ve developed nick names such as “cow whisperer “ and “step stool Vic” as I am short and stocky and most times need to stand on gates to assist delivering and checking contracting and dialation. Any farm job, I have done. So I have experience with any task needing to be performed.
