When I was a child I greatly benefited from the care, enthusiam, and life lessons that was given to me by caregivers. Following in their example I know what it takes to be a successful caregiver. I will always put the families needs before mine. I have worked the past several summers at Shorewood Hills Pool. A few values I always take away from working there is the importance of creating a safe, healthy, fun and comfortable environment. I am huge promoter of team work and solving problems together.
I recently finished my musical theatre training at CAP21 Conservatory in New York City. Due to my rigorous class schedule starting at ten in the morning and finishing around ten at night I am proficient at balancing time, meals, and life in general. Although I do love being apart of the theatre community, and will always look for ways to be involved in it, I realized I want to be a teacher more. After having over seven years of experience working with children at the pool, I am confident that I can lead I often had to lead big groups of children at a certain time. Some of my responsibilities at the pool included organizing swim practices, coming up with a structured lesson plan for swimming lessons, and coaching at swim meets. I am First Aid/CPR/AED certifide in Adult and Infants, as well as, Lifeguard Cerftifide. I am passionate about creating a safe, educational, and fun environment for every family that I work with.
I have spent the past five summers caring for my cousins big german shepard dog. My responsibilities included walking the dog three times a day, meal prep, and playtime. I also have had a Greater Swiss Mountain dog for the past ten years.
