I've been a caretaker for pets who are very young, all the way up to the elderly; animals in all kinds of situations. Many are healthy, well-adjusted and friendly. Some have medical issues. And others have traumatic backgrounds. They need even more patience and gentleness because of social issues like fear, anxiety, or shyness.

Specifically, one has diabetes and needs shots twice daily. Another is elderly and partially blind. A few kittens I cared for had been living on the streets. The ASPCA took them in and they were adopted by the owner I work for. When I first saw them, they were intensely fearful of everyone and everything. Slowly they were learning to trust people.

I'm soft spoken, caring and gentle, and by nature a humanitarian My demeanor with animals is one of calmness and acceptance. And too, I 'm always willing to learn. I encourage owners to tell me as much as possible about their pet’s personality, habits, routines, fears, favorites etc. The more I know the better job I can do.

I understand the anxiety of leaving a pet in someone else's hands. It’s why I do my best to form a positive bond and help the pet feel at ease and happy

i do daily visits to care for pets I also do overnight stays (in the owner's home), in Manhattan, the Bronx, Queens and Brooklyn; sometimes in New Jersey too. I am available any time: weekdays, weeknights, weekends, and major holidays. Although there is a set fee range, I make allowences to charge what the pet owner can afford.
