I am a pet lover and enthusiast! I believe that every animal should have a safe place to call home. 
My family purchased our first dog (a black lab named Mickey Belton Held) when I was 18. When I was young I always wanted a dog, so when we finally had one it was a dream come true. I think that since we got our dog when i was older it made me realize on a deeper level how much unconditional love and joy an animal can bring to a household. 
I treat every pet with the utmost respect and love. I am a tough disciplinarian though; I want every pet to be well behaved and healthy! 
I applied for a job at a grooming salon recently. However, I sincerely didn't approve of how they dealt with the animals. Now I want to work with animals on my own so that I can treat them how I believe they deserve to be treated!
