I have been involved with animals all my life - large/small/cold blooded/warm blooded/wet/dry/finned - or not. I feel it is very sad that people that live in rural areas find it very hard to get reliable. caring pet services in their home. It is pretty traumatic for animals to have to go through adaption to new surroundings. I have a full time job, and am looking to supplement my income to support my other recreational activity - competitive fishing! I am very experienced in taking care of animals - being a lifetime dairy farmer.
--> I am honest/trustworthy/very hardworking. I have never done this for money - but as I have volunteered thousands and thousands of hours in emergency medical services over the last 18 years, I have come to realize that my time and experience is worth something - and I need the money! I do NOT want the structure/responsibilities of another traditional job - as I already have one of them.
I am very, very patient, generally can present myself to unfamiliar animals and manage to get friendly with them in a short amount of time. I have no phobias - there is no animal I would not be willing to care for.
Rates are somewhat negotiable, depending on mileage, number + types of animals at each location, and amount of time required per visit.
