I've always loved animals and after years of convincing my parents, I got my first dog 13 years ago. He's a wonderful and healthy Pomeranian boy named Saige. Since he was my first pet I initially enrolled him in some classes to be trained where I'd of course accompany him and once the methods of training made sense, I was able to continue the training myself. I even learned to groom him after multiple negative groomer experiences which I'm sure a lot of pet owners can relate to. I actually really enjoy bathing, combing and cutting his hair to a point where I considered working as a pet groomer. I have experience caring for sick pets and providing medication as my dog has had two surgeries for the same genetic condition.

I didn't have any significant interactions with cats until about 5 years ago when I saw a stray in my backyard and decided to feed her. I thought she was a boy and named her Levi; little did I know Levi was pregnant and gave birth a couple weeks later to two kittens, Lila and Maya, who I absolutely adore and have adopted since. I knew I loved dogs but I didn't know how much I'd begin to adore cats. Their athleticism, wittiness, unending purrs, intelligence and comforting affection has fulfilled me in many ways.

A woman who helped me spay the cats asked me to sit her senior cat named Tiger while she was away multiple times and I enjoyed it very much. From that experience I realized this is something I'd really enjoy doing more so I signed up for Rover.

After signing up, I began walking a Great Pyrenees named Zack. I was his walker for over a year before I moved upstate. I loved walking Zack and learnt a lot about dog walking by walking such a big boy. He liked 2 hour walks in the morning and 1 hour walks in the evening so I’m used to long walks if your pet requires!

I've had parakeets from the age of 7-16 so know how to provide basic care like food, water, and cage cleaning. I've also been vegan for 10 years now because of my love for all animals. I hope you can intrust me to help care for your pet and spend some great moments with them.
