I love animals. I recently moved to the area from Maine, and one of the things I miss most are my pets (three cats and a dog). The animals I'm used to have a wide spectrum of energy levels and interest in people, and I've cared for all of them for extended periods of time, including handling a health crisis or two, so I can take whatever comes my way. Plus, I would really love to meet some animals (and people) in the area!
