I have always lived with animals and love caring for these special family members!

Growing up, my family had multiple adorable cats and a wonderful Labradoodle, Chet, who I helped train as a puppy and then cared for as he aged. Chet was a special member of my family for eleven years. As a senior dog, he developed diabetes and cataracts in addition to mobility issues, though nothing ever stopped him from playing fetch! It was hard to see our family's beloved dog suffering, but he never lost his happy disposition and devotion to my family. Chet passed away at the end of 2017 and I miss him daily, but he taught me so much about the unconditional love of an animal. In his final years, I helped daily with testing his blood and administering insulin to care for his diabetes and I spent a summer helping him recover from cataract surgery, providing various eye drops on a strict schedule while supervising Chet day and night for any problems. I value this experience nursing Chet because I now have skills to help other animals in the future.

I currently have one cat, Vincent Van Gogh, whom I adopted from the Humane Society four years ago (he was a discount black cat). The best part of my day is hanging out with him! He is very attached to my partner who looks after him when I'm not around.

Most recently, I have provided in-home pet care for a family's five senior dogs, four cats, turtle, and rabbit for extended periods of time. My responsibilities include maintaining their strict schedule for meals and medicines, as well as knowing each animals personality to make sure they're comfortable and feel loved while their family is away. Caring for this rowdy bunch on a regular basis has made me certain I can handle any pets!

While your animal friends are in my care, you can be certain they are my priority and will get all the affection they need! I am reliable and an effective problem solver. During my time with your animals, you will receive regular updates and can rest assured that I will promptly handle any issues, whether it's hairballs or staying up late to comfort them during a thunderstorm. If providing in-home care, I am always respectful of your home and keep things tidy- my goal is for you to come home to a happy pet and relax without having to worry about a house guest!
