PETS THRIVE BEST WHEN THEY ARE IN THEIR OWN ENVIRONMENT. Your pet depends on you for love, comfort, security, happiness, as well their health and safety. An important aspect of providing for our pet's needs is to not rely on an "auto pilot" belief that our pet (s) will be fine when we leave them alone for an extended period of time or to kennel them away from home during vacation time.

Our pets love us very much! They really don't ask for a lot in return either. What pets love the most is to see you... Have food, water, play time, nap time, potty time, and a comfortable/safe area that they recognize as their own.

The easiest way to communicate with your pet and to facilitate your pet's understanding they are okay while your away is to maintain their normal routine. A pet doesn't know how to tell what time you will be home. Several things happen when you provide a consistent routine for your pet which gives them a sense of well being. Without a routine pets can become anxious, confused, not sleep well, eat less, socialize less, and even destructive. This is why I stress the importance of implementing a schedule with your pet which will become the routine they will associate their own expectations on. The routine can vary to adapt to changes but when drastic changes happen suddenly it can confuse them.

When using a pet sitter your pet will quickly identify the visit as being a part of the routine they do on a regular basis.

I love animals and spending time with them.  While you are at work or away I can take your pet for a walk, feed, baby them, and keep them company. 

Your pet is important to you, so hire the right person to take great care of your pet.  Regardless if I come once or on a regular basis, I will provide them with loving pet care and monitor their health and safety while your away.
