I am a dog mom and for many years before having a human child, my dogs were my only babies. I also love cats, and have some experience with other animals (fish, hamsters, etc). I truly believe pets are family members and should be treated as such. I will respect any routines you have for your pets, and will make them as comfortable as I can in your absence.
I give unlimited pet snuggles and scritchies, and customize good boy/good girl songs to remind them of how loved they are. I have my own dog at home (who will stay home with my husband), so I prefer to pet sit in your home, so that 1) we don’t have to worry if your pets and my dog will get along, and 2) your pets can feel comfortable in their own home and their own space. I can provide daytime pet sitting, overnight(s), and entertainment/exercise/walks, etc. I am experienced with high energy dogs, but also have a soft spot in my heart for seniors who move at a slower pace and may need some extra support in their golden years. I have lots of experience with dogs with medical needs (diabetes, insulin shots, giving medication, seizures, incontinence, mobility issues, etc).

This is negotiable, but my 4 year old daughter loves to tag along on adventures with mom, so if she is able to join me, she would love to give your pets extra attention and love (2 for the price of 1!), but if you are not comfortable with that, it’s not required.

Other fun facts about me: I work in the field of providing services for people with disabilities. I work from home for part of the week, so I can be flexible with being present for your pets. I have a Master’s degree in Special Education and was a teacher for several years. I love photography, so you’ll probably get way more photos of your pet while you’re away than you might want.

My preferred availability is Friday-Sunday, but I can work with your needs if you will be away longer than just the weekend!
