Hello, my name is Anadine! I'm an artist (specializing in animation), musician, and avid pet lover. I've been raised around all sorts of pets throughout my life, cats, dogs, reptiles, arachnids, birds, etc.. but my area of particular interest has always been dogs and puppies. Since I was 19 I have been fostering, pet sitting, and taking care of my own pets. In fact, raising my three pups (a blue tick coonhound boxer mix, mini pin mix and an English lab) over the last 7 years has been one of the most rewarding experiences I've had the pleasure of participating in. There's nothing quite like that bond of trust and care you develop over years of sharing a life with another creature, completely foreign to yourself. In that 6 years I've trained both of them to follow me off leash (for camping trips and such), respond excellently to non-verbal commands (guiding using only hand motions) and have taught them a number of parlor tricks such as singing to a harmonica, playing a child's piano, and break dancing (that's one of my favorites). I've also fostered 2 other dogs (a boxer/pit mix and a husky/Shepard/lab mix), and have consistently watched my moms 3 dogs (2 border collies and a chow/hound mix) for the last 8 years. In short, I LOVE dogs. I've also taken care of a number of stray cats over the years, just feeding, sheltering and socializing outside cats. Young or old, high energy or low, I'm a natural caregiver and when it comes to pets I'm ready for just about anything within reason.
