I am a teacher and tutor by trade, and have been fortunate to be a cat owner/ caregiver for 15 years, then a dog owner/caregiver for about the same amount of time. My children and I experienced caring for birds, bunnies, turtles, fish, and guinea pigs throughout the years. I have always loved and respected animals, both domesticated and wild.
The dogs I have had have been rescues and they certainly enriched my life more than I would ever have guessed. They were and are family.
I worked with and learned from trainers for teaching my dogs. I treat my dogs with love, compassion, and positive reinforcements.
I tend to feel nervous with certain breeds of large dogs, but am open to getting to know most. I look forward to meeting you and sharing good care for your pet!
