Working with pets and animals has always come easier than people to me. Though pet’s needs can be extensive, our pets are always the heart of the household and deserve to be taken care of as best as possible. I’ve been dog sitting and walking, along with check ins on other types of animals, for around 4 years for various family members and family friends, most of them going out of town often so I’m able to form a good connection with their pet. For those that I’m meeting for the first time, it makes it a smoother experience to go slow and be patient for the sake of those that are more skittish, so it’s a way to strengthen both my patience and the animals. With multiple pets myself and a love for every creature with a heartbeat, I like to make sure other animals are taken care of as if they’re my own.
