Why do you love working with pets?
Pets bring me so much joy! I’ve grown up around animals my whole life—from hedgehogs and sugar gliders to dogs and cats—so caring for them feels natural and rewarding. Each one has their own personality, and I love building trust and bonds with them.
What experience do you have?
I currently have a chihuahua mix who I personally trained in basic commands like sit, shake, and stay. People always tell me she’s the best-behaved chihuahua they’ve met! I also have a cat who’s been with me since college—she started out as a dorm kitten and has been a part of my life ever since.
What skills and training do you have?
I have hands-on experience with basic obedience training for small dogs and am comfortable with pet routines like feeding, playtime, litter box cleaning, and walking. I’m patient, observant, and great at reading pet body language to help keep them calm and happy. I’ve also cared for a variety of animals, so I’m flexible and quick to adapt to different pet personalities and needs.
