I have been dog sitting for 8+ years. I have also cared for cats, rodents, birds, chickens, goats, fish, and hermit crabs throughout those years. I had a dog for about 12 to 13 years and a cat when I was younger. I have also owned many fish and many rodents. I currently have a chinchilla named Oakley. I have worked with up to 6 dogs at one time for my friend's family. I also dog sit for a family who only adopts and fosters rescues so I have experience with dogs who have little trust and need love and patience. I've cared for dogs as small as a chihuahua and as big as a mastiff. I have experience with dog walks, drop in visits, transportation, overnights, boarding, and medication administration.
