Hello, I'm Clara! I'm 19, and a graduate of Hopkins School (New Haven) and the Class of 2017. I'm a long-time competitive rower who is just finishing up a postgraduate gap year before heading off to college in the fall.

I'm also a veteran pet owner--even as a young child, my parents recognized my love for animals. Over the past thirteen years, I have independently owned and cared for numerous guinea pigs, small birds, fish, and rodents; I've also grown up with my wonderful cat and labrador retriever.

As a competitive rower, I'm quite strong and capable of handling rambunctious or large dogs; I've spent many hours walking and petsitting my former neighbor's exuberant husky.

I have my own car and am conveniently located quite close to the Basset (Waite Street, Hamden) dog park, so I'm more than happy to accompany your furry friend to the park for a few hours. I take my own lab there every day.

I am coaching my crew team weekday mornings this summer, but am--usually--free in the afternoons and weekends, and would be delighted to pet sit.
