I have been a large dog owner since 2009 on my own and prior to that we had dogs in the family home. I currently no longer have a dog since my last dog passed away in 2021. I also have a cat that I've raised since a kitten. I understand that pets aren't just animals, they are beloved fur babies and knowing they are properly cared for can be a huge worry off of the owners shoulders when they must travel for work or leisure.

Currently work for school district, I’m off for summer seeking extra income. Once school starts I can tend to pets before and after school. Most evenings are free and weekends. I can either offer drop in care or I’m also willing to stay with the pet overnight so they aren’t alone.

I would care for the pet in their own home where they are familiar and have their toys and or favorite spots that are comforting for them. I would try to keep their routine as close to their normal routine as possible. The pet is already potentially missing their person (owner), I don’t want to also disrupt their routine.
