I own two cats (a 5 year old and a 3 year old). They are well taken care of and groomed. I don’t own any dogs but I do help my older sister with her dogs/puppies as needed. She has 4 full grown dogs and has batch after batch of puppies that need cared for. I will replace puppy pads, feed them food and water twice a day, walk them if old enough and let them out at least twice a day.
