I've always had pets my whole life. We had a beagle and a rescue cat when I was younger. Once they passed we rescued a toy poodle mix who is my soulmutt. In addition to Chloe, I also have a Shih-Tzu (Tashi), and a Newfie-poo (Percy). When I lived with my parents I would also help care for my sister's chinchillas. When I was in college my roommates and I had a hedgehog. I would petsit when I came home for the summers in college. I love being around animals and think that this could be a wonderful opportunity to fill the lack of them in my life now that I've moved to my current apartment.
