Hello, here is a bit about me: First off, I just love animals! I currently have no pets since I work for others so much and I'm also waiting until I'm a homeowner. 10 years ago I missed the presence of animals in my life and thought I could provide this deed for the neighborhood. I advertised online one day and ended up dog walking for 8 people regularly within a week! I am originally from Pittsburgh. Currently I have 7 dog walking clients I work for M-F and 5 overnight sitting clients I work for regularly on an as-needed basis. I keep my clientele small to ensure the best care and attention, enabling myself to cater to my clients' specific needs. I also have hundreds of one time jobs under my belt. I have experience with a vast number of breeds and sizes of dogs and cats.  I have experience with Rotties, Pitts, Dobermans and Bulldogs.  Other animals include cats, fish, reptiles, ferrets, rabbits, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs or mice, amphibians, even tarantulas! I'm comfortable with it all! My experience includes staying in others homes while caring for one or more animals of varying species. Other duties included bringing in mail, picking up packages or deliveries while homeowners were on vacation, watering plants, keeping an eye on the property and home, maintaining a presence in the home so it doesn't look empty, all while allowing consistency and comfort to animals in their own environment.  Length of my stays vary from 2 days to 3 weeks.  I provide my own groceries and necessities.  Follow instructions thoroughly for feeding and exercise schedule, as well as experience with administering medicine through shots, pills or cremes.  Have the ability to groom or bathe animals if necessary, do not provide grooming supplies.  Have working cell phone and reliable transportation for emergencies,  scheduled vet visits, or trips to dog park.  I have 10 years experience doing this profession independently and in my early years had experienced dogs getting loose, leashes breaking, other dogs jumping over fences, dog fights, medical emergencies, anything you could imagine.  Because I have experienced these situations, I have learned how to prevent them and what to do if they happen.  I am very aware of the surroundings on walks as well as in the own backyard.  I realize animals can be unpredictable and always have an eye open and maintain control while still being laid back, loving, and fun. I maintain excellent communication with clients while they travel.
