Hi my name is Lydia, I’m 18, and dogs are my absolute favorite thing in the world. From the time I was born until now my family has always had a dog. I have lots of experience with big dogs of varying temperaments. Golden Retrievers were always my family’s favorite, so I have had lots of experience with dogs that want constant attention and affection. However, I have also had a nervous rescue dog before, so I know how to care for a dog that could get aggressive in certain situations. My family currently owns two Newfoundland’s, so I’ve had plenty of practice in wrangling multiple (stubborn) large dogs at a time. Those dogs of mine are stubborn on leashes, so I’ve also had practice in walking dogs that require a lot of strength to handle. I have also cared for small dogs before, going to owners houses every couple of hours to feed, play with, let out, and walk. I have less experience with cats, but I did own one for a short period of time, so I know how to feed and take care of one. I would just say I prefer the playful temperament of a dog, but I do love cats to. My family has also owned a box turtle for a period of time, so I have experience caring for one of those too. Any other animal I do not have experience with, but would love to get some. Prices can easily be discussed and changed. I currently have an issue with transportation, if you do need live off of/near East or West Main road or in Downtown Newport then something will have to be arranged, as those are the areas I can take the bus to. I hope for this to change in the near future.
