As a recent graduate from Elon University, I am hoping to gain more diverse experience in pursuit of my path to become a veterinarian.
Through my experience at various places such as Haywood Road Animal Hospital, Banfield, the Greensboro Science Center and the Greenville Zoo, I consider myself very familiar with all animals in various health conditions. I have over 2,000 hours of experience with animal care and I hope to further that with this wonderful opportunity. Working at the zoo, I have experience with lifting heavy weight and I am familiar with the specific dietary requirements and enrichment for certain animals (most specifically those from Africa). As a communications major, I have learned to work both by myself and as a team member and I am highly familiar with customer service.
