I started working with animals in 1995 at the Rose Hill Equestrian Center as a stable hand.  From there I went to Beaufort Equestrian Center where I eventually became the manager. Shortly after that I moved to Pendleton, SC and enrolled in the Vet Tech program at Tri-County Technical College.  I worked as a kennel tech, then quickly moved to vet tech as I acquired more skills.  My history includes jobs in Equestrian hospitals, small animal practice, mixed practice (small and large animal), emergency medicine, as well as a short externship at the Riverbanks Zoo. I began pet sitting when a vet I worked for could no longer sit for her clients and introduced me to them. That was in 2001.  I have been pet sitting ever since for extra income and love it.
