Ever since I could talk, walk, and appreciate the companionship of animals I discovered there is no other job right for me then one that involves animals. I moved from California to Tennessee in August of 2016 and a lot of things are still new to me. While looking for job openings online in or near Cookeville I stumbled across this website. When I saw it had a pet option I knew I had to apply. I've owned and taken care of Puppies/dogs, kittens/cats, guinea pigs, frogs, lizards, pigs, chickens, rats, cockatiels, parrots, hamsters, and bunnies. I also did a internship at a pet sanctuary in California called CALM. I got to help sick animals, prepare their meals, and clean their living areas. It was a real learning experience.
