I have had two hamsters and two guinea pigs growing up (not all at the same time, though). My parents never let me have dogs due to my sister's allergies, but because of this, I have always loved dogs and instantly clicked with friends' dogs whenever I'm around.

My orchestra director had asked me to dogsit his beagle, Lucy, while he had to attend to private lessons elsewhere, and for the whole month, everyday, I walked Lucy around the apartment area. I always had poopy bags, and made sure she wasn't eating or chewing on anything that she wasn't supposed to be eating. I would drive and bring her to the nearby park to play with other dogs her size, and she would play fetch with me. I didn't have the opportunity to train her and I am not certified.
