Hi! I’m a huge animal lover with extensive experience in animal care. I previously worked in rescue, where I specialized in working with animals with advanced medical and behavioral needs. Although I no longer work in animal welfare, I still volunteer with local rescues. My close friend and mentor is a certified pet behaviorist who taught me nearly everything I know. I have such a soft spot for anxious, reactive, or fearful dogs, so if your pet falls into that category, please let me put your mind at ease. I’d love to earn your animals trust and care for them. I am well educated in animal enrichment so I would love to help provide enrichment to your pets!
I have experience with dog going through heartworm treatment, chemo treatment, surgery recovery, incontinence, Deaf dogs, Blind dogs, Deaf/Blind dogs, and dogs with arthritis. I am proficient in administering medication, including intermuscular injections.
I am also proficient in cutting/dremeling nails, brushing teeth, and cleaning ears of dogs (including fearful/reactive dogs).
I own four cats (two of them were dumped with me), one dog, and one bearded dragon that I love very much.
My one downfall is that I unfortunately have asthma. I am absolutely down for long walks, but if your pup needs extended runs, I’m not your gal.
