Growing up, our family had many many foster dogs and litters of puppies under our care. Of course, I always wanted to keep each precious pup, but I understood the importance of helping them find “furever” families. It was important to continue the vital work of hosting and rehabilitating the dogs that really needed us.

Now that I'm a student, I'm not in the stage of life where I can take on the long-term commitment of fostering a rescue, but I love being a pet sitter and providing a valuable - and rewarding - service. It is very important to me that every dog feels safe and loved in the absence of their families. It's a passion of mine, and they brighten my life in return.

Because I’ve spent so much time fostering and working with rescues, I have a lot of experience with dogs who are skittish because of trauma. My presence is incredibly calming and supportive, which helps immensely when welcoming any dog into my home. I’ve worked with all kinds of breeds including beagles, dachshunds, chihuahuas, terriers, poodles, and cocker spaniels.

I love living in a safe, dog-friendly complex. One of my favorite things to do is sit on the patio with my dog Rosie, greeting the neighbors and their pups! There's also a big grassy hill we love to run around on. I’m attentive, caring, loving, and loyal, and I want to have a loving connection with every dog I care for. I take pride in being attentive and listening well so I can provide the most fun, anxiety-free, comfortable stay possible.

When your pet stays with me, we would spend the day playing with toys, rewarding with treats, going on walks, and snuggling on the couch. I’m able to spend lots of time with my furry guests because I take most of my classes online, so your loved one definitely won’t get bored! My boyfriend may visit too, and dogs love him - he has a real gift for reading their emotions and playing with pups (I learn a lot from him). Whatever your dog enjoys doing, eating, playing, or watching on TV...we’ll find time for it!
