You can trust me to give the best possible care to your priceless, irreplaceable companion(s)--as well as your home and possessions. This is more than a job to me and I take this responsibility very seriously.
For the past 20+ years I've cared for all kinds of animals while working as a professional pet sitter, veterinary assistant, licensed wildlife rehabilitator, and zookeeper. I've also taken several veterinary technician courses and attended many conferences and seminars on animal care.
I'm happy to brush dogs' teeth, watch television with a sofa full of cats, sleep in bed with dogs and cats, give injections, feed reluctant eaters out of my hands, walk countless miles and throw innumerable balls and toys, sing songs with a parrot(!)--whatever reassures your pet(s) that life is pretty much the same as when you're there.
Most people ask that I spend as much time as possible with their animals, and I feed/walk/play/"hang out” long enough to allow me to really observe any possible problems and give lots of attention and reassurance. Day visits ($35) are a minimum of 1 hour, which sometimes goes longer at no added cost. (Of course if you instruct me to I will make my visits shorter, but I avoid rushed "ins and outs.")
Overnight stays ($80+) include daytime walks/play times, bringing in mail and newspapers, watering plants, making sure the house looks occupied, and texting short reports and photos to reassure you that all is well. I'll be there most of the day and all night keeping your pet(s) happy and safe.
I deeply love and respect all animals and it's always a pleasure to meet people who want only the best care for their pets.
