I was raised on a farm in Northeast Texas. I currently have 2 large dogs but in addition have loved many cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, and a tortoise in the past. One of my dogs has anxiety and stranger issues due to being abused as a puppy prior to my husband and I adopting him. I am very familiar with animal body language and the time it sometimes takes for them to become comfortable around new individuals. I also enjoy chasing squirrels... just kidding.
