Howdy all! My name is Falon, I am a native Texan and love being around children and pets of all kinds. Being the youngest in my families generation I experienced babysitting at a very early age with children ranging from 2yr-13yrs of age. In high school I enrolled in courses for early childhood development and IPET (Instructional Practices in Education and Training) throughout graduation. These courses involved education on all stages of childhood and provided hands on experience in a classroom setting where we created and applied curriculums, daily teaching plans, how to manage large groups of children, managing disruptive children, teaching children to read ect. I am extremely creative, energetic, have no children of my own, and I find children’s imaginations/simple outlooks on life to be incredibly refreshing/grounding.
My love for animals started young as well. I have a deep passion in caring for animals of all kinds. I currently have a dog of my own who is currently going through chemo after recently being diagnosed with lymphoma. I have cared for chickens, peacocks, parrots, dogs (of all kinds, sizes and energy levels), cats (also of all kinds), lizards, tortoises, tarantulas, rabbits, horses and the list goes on. Not long ago I was filling this passion by working part time with a traveling petting zoo company, working for Rover sitting for others and most of my personal friends/connections. I am familiar with handling/grooming/feeding/cleaning sick, injured, scared and aggressive pets and would love to assist in making them as comfortable as possible to heal.
I have dabbled in experience with the elderly and housekeeping (being a bit OCD definitely helps) as well.
