Hi! My name is Emaleigh. I've been an animal-lover all of my life. I have been caring for critters for friends and family for 7 years. I have years of experience dog walking and pet sitting. Most recently, I worked at a dog boarding facility/ doggy daycare for a year. While I was there I worked as a bather with the resident dog groomer, as a doggy daycare supervisor, and as manager of the boarding kennels. At times, I was responsible for the care of over 100 dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, small mammals, and more! I learned how to properly care for multiple species of animals, to properly handle dogs with a wide range of personalities and sizes on leash, and how to recognize common canine body language signals. I have experience performing various grooming duties and administering medications. I am also Pet CPR/ First Aid Certified. Animals are my absolute passion. I keep up to date on the latest in behavior, training, health, body language, and safety. I also have a soft spot for dogs that are fearful or take a little bit more time than most to warm up to strangers. I am knowledgeable and experienced in the proper way to approach dogs like these to make them feel at ease and safe. I take extra care with all my animals, but will care for fearful dogs (and other species) with a little more sensitivity. I hope you'll let me show your animals the love they deserve!
