I am a regular volunteer to a great rescue organization here in San Antonio; it is called SNIPSA. I have been working with their adoption and other events where dog care is regularly needed so I am accustomed to many different situations regarding their needs and personalities. I have also had my share of rescues which required extraordinary care such as with insulin injections and seizure dogs; these were my own pets. I currently have one best friend and is name is Apollo and I treat not like an animal but as a member of the family so I am very accustomed to the many voices and sounds needed to make a dog comfortable. I have attended dog training seminars at Petco so that I could train my pets but it was later apparent that the training was meant for me. I don't know of any other way to say hoe much of a dog lover I am but rest assured that I know how to love and appreciate their company so when I care for any one else's dog, it is as if they are my own. I never discipline any of my pets but rather I use my words and tone to express my intent and so there will never be a time when they are in any danger or harm. I do have special accommodations when and if transporting any pet and have special safety and comfort items for that purpose. I know how important these family members are and so I would make them a temporary part of my home if needed.
