My name is Jackie Moore and I am a recent graduate from Old Dominion University. For as long as I can remember I have always loved animals, dogs and reptiles especially. I've had a dog since I was a baby because my dad has always loved them as well. I went to ODU to study journalism, another passion I have, but while I was there my focus was constantly on animals. I knew I wanted to work with dogs, but I also knew I didn't want to be a vet. While in high school, I took an Animal Science class where I worked with all types of animals and became certified in pet first aid and CPR. I recently found a school in California called Bergin University of Canine Studies where I plan on getting a Master's in Canine Sciences. I plan on opening my own rescue center and doggie daycare center and am super excited about it! I have 2 pitbulls now. My girl, Tiny, is 14 and my boy, Kovu, is 1. I was actually there when Kovu was born and helped his mother remain comfortable and have an easy pregnancy and whelping process. I've dog sat for a few families before, the most being 3 dogs at one time.
