I worked as a volunteer in the animal shelter when I lived in Florida. I used to nurse newborn kittens and puppies that were abandoned there. I grew up with dogs my whole life. My mom and dad still have 7 puppies lol. The older ones have passed away sadly. I never got certifications because I was working a serving job and my passion was to just volunteer and help with all the animals. My experience with dogs and cats are tremendous. I would watch my friends dogs while they were out of town and also go to my ex inlaws and watch sand cheeks (dachshund) and ride the buggy to the chicken coop, feed the chickens, collect the eggs and go down to the pond to feed all the catfish.
