Hello! Thank you for visiting my profile! My name is Cassie. I was a preschool teacher for 6 months working in the Pre-K class (ages 4-5). That preschool unfortunately closed down, so for the past two years, I have been teaching at Skip with Academy in a Montessori program (as the lead) with ages 3-5. At both places, I have been moved around to help in other rooms at need and do have experience taking care of both younger and older children. I took this summer off from teaching to nanny two girls, and I am loving it! I am looking into nannying positions for the upcoming year. In my Pre-K classroom, I helped teach my students Spanish, basic math, and the foundations of reading and writing. I took charge of many of the craft and art projects! In Montessori, I have learned how to "guide" rather than "teach", allowing children to be more independent and hands-on in their own learning process. I have experience with Kindergarten preparation, including PALS testing!
