I am 26 years of age, finishing a B.S. psychology program (2 experimental methods courses short of graduation), and live with a husky/German shepherd, 3 cats, 6 snakes and a hedgehog. I treasure meeting and befriending new families and would appreciate a place on your call list. I am a caretaker of both pets and children.

I sporadically pet and house sit when the need arises for those around me (from a few days to over a week at a time), and have assisted in a cross country road trip holding and handling a small dog to avoid the use of a cage. Animals are a part of my daily life and I'm a real lover of their company. Every family to whom I've been a nanny (and almost everyone whom I've babysat for) has had at minimum 1 dog, and I spent most of my life with at least a cat in my household. For the past 5 years I've spent every day taking care of a German shepherd/Alaskan husky mix, several (2-4 concurrently) cats as well as snakes, rats and other animals. I am happy to enter an arrangement for stays 24 hrs up to several weeks. I have experience caring for 5 dogs at a time and have no problem with large breeds or numbers.

The service I offer is my stay in your home and feed, let out, play with, and do basic tidying after your pets. I do walk dogs during my stay if requested (one large or a few small dogs at one time).

I work with multiple people (mostly child care) and schedule appointments, meaning if you'd like a place on my calendar, please speak up as soon as you know. For this reason I work best on call-list.

My average (flexible) rate is $45 per 24hr stay, but every arrangement can be discussed to match your needs.
