I currently have a two year old st. Bernard that I have trained all on my own since day one! I can not imagine my life without a dog. I recently lost a black lab at the age of 15 that we had to put down as it had arthritis and become blind about 4-5 years before we had to let it go. It was one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do as a pet becomes a huge part of your life. Before our black lab we had rescued a German Shepard that no one in our town claimed was theirs and had him for almost 8 years. I have loved dogs since I was born and will continue to have a huge heart for them no matter what age!
