Hi, I’m Deidre! Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I worked in veterinary care for over four years, where I helped care for pets of all kinds and learned how to handle just about any situation with patience and compassion. Before that, I spent five years volunteering at the Oregon Zoo, including three and a half years caring for educational animals like goats, reptiles, and even insects.

I’m currently studying Ecology and have a lifetime of experience raising and caring for animals at home. I’ve had dogs, cats, reptiles, fish, and insect colonies, so I’m comfortable with pets that are cuddly, scaly, or anything in between. I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your animals, and I treat every pet like they’re my own.
