I'm a 32 year old animal lover who is needing to make some extra money outside of my career. I'm excited to be working with animals again! I do work Monday through Thursday from 9am to 4pm and Fridays from 9am to 12pm, but my hours are very flexible in the afternoons, nights, and weekends.

I have experience dating back to 2009 working with dogs, cats, and birds at various boarding kennels in Washington state walking, cleaning kennels, administering medication, playtime, and cuddle time (my favorite!). I did a little pet sitting for about a year. I strive to provide a caring service for pet parents that is reassuring, reliable, compassionate, understanding of little quirks we all have regarding how we care for our fur babies, and respect for how you need someone to take care of them and your home.

I grew up with so many different kinds of animals from traditional to amphibians. My husband and I have a Pitbull mix of our own, Lucy, and orange tabby cat Zelda who is 12. Lucy is 1 and a half years so I have fresh experience raising a puppy, we adopted her when she was 2 months old. Lucy has been definitely challenging, but SO worth it! Zelda is feisty without warning. So I understand based on daily experience how to handle all temperaments of breeds.

My caregiving style with all animals is nurturing. I can be commanding if I need to, but in my experience, that hasn't been successful and just causes tension.

My communication style with you is as much as you want or need. From experience I know how stressful having someone take care of your pet can be when it goes wrong and you're left with a pet sitter who isn't communicating, being honest, doing basic things like locking the front door when they leave, and disrespectful of what you're paying them to do: leave the tv on when they leave so your dog doesn't get bored and eat something strange, for example.

We parents are particular about how our babies are treated and it's not up to me to decide if I feel like treating yours like that or not- you're paying me to take care of your pet and home the way you do while you're unavailable and that's exactly what I will do! :)
