I worked previously 3 years at a dog daycare and boarding facility, I was managing the playrooms in the daycare and conducted temperament tests for incoming potential daycare clients. this involved bringing in the new dog into a smaller play room, and slowly introduce calm tempered dogs to the new dog, to establish the dogs baseline behaviors with a calm dog. After a brief period of time for them to socialize I would start to bring dogs in with differing personality traits in order to see how the potential clients dog fits into the established daycare group. In each playroom I was monitoring and interacting with 15-30 dogs of various breeds and size. Always remained calm collected and in control at all times.
I have a 13 year old mixed breed dog that I have trained and cared for since he was a puppy. I grew up with cats as well so I am familiar with both canine and feline needs. I am a very caring and compassionate person looking to help other pet parents give some additional care while their away.
