I'm a non-smoking, non-drinking, graduate-degreed lover of animals. I have owned a dog training business for the past 15 years (Canine Basic Training). I am older, but that doesn't diminish my enthusiasm nor my abilities to romp and play or handle a large dog. My husband and I have been active in Rottie Rescue for 25 years. We've owned/cared for up to 7 dogs at a time. We've never turned away a sick or injured dog; right now we have 3 dogs with cancer that we are loving and caring for as well as a wonderful rottie-mix who keeps giving his toys away to the sick dogs. I also share my life with one great cat and 5 horses. I have a certificated degree in Animal Training and Behavior from Animal Behavior College. I also have a certificate in teaching, training and riding from C.H.A. (Certified
Horsemanship Association.) I have taken care of other people's pets all my life-whenever there is a need. I believe that good, compassionate care givers have a calling to do what they do. Pet care givers are no different. I truly understand how hard it is to think that anyone but you could take care of your beloved animal companions.
