I have a lifetime of caring for many animals but in particular, dogs of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. I also have excellent knowledge in animal health. Such as; reading a dogs body language for possible health problems, as well as administration of all types of medication the dog might be on. Such as; pills, shots, ointments, eye and ear drops, etc. While I don't have a degree in dog grooming, I have groomed my own dogs as well as friends and families dogs. Such as; shaving, trimming hair/nails, bathing, ear cleaning, etc. I am the biggest animal lover anyone could ever meet. And I chose to want to work with animals because there is nothing in this world I would rather do. Helping animals and the people who love them is the greatest feeling in the world. My ultimate dream for myself will be to eventually go back to school to become a veterinarian. In the meantime, I have applied for five scholarships and if I get the honor of getting awarded this wonderful opportunity, I will go back to school to fulfill my dream. I also have a background with participating in many animal rescues over the past 15 years since I was 13 years old. I have cared for many of my friends and families pets since I was 15 years old. While I currently do not have any degrees or certificates, as of yet, showing what I am capable of, my love and lifetime of experience will show that on its own. I have helped friends/families dogs by training them to simply sit, stay, give paw, speak, etc. I have also worked with dogs that had aggression issues. This included dogs of all ages, from very small Chihuahuas to Irish Wolfhounds (the largest dog in the world). I have been around animals all my life, and I'm 28 years old now, with four dogs of my own. Two Labrador Retrievers and two Chihuahuas. I treat them like their my children and I treat my friends and families dogs the same way. All animals deserve the very best that we can give them and more. Animals are the best friends a person could ever have.
