I'm a retired nurse who's getting bored at home !! I've had pets all my life & couldn't exist without them. Their inborn sense of love & compassion is equally matched by mine. We had a purebred lab, Mariah" who had 11 puppies that were "show dogs". When their eyes opened, I had to hand feed each one special nutrients every four hours around the clock including during the night. I'm a very light sleeper. We lost our loving Mariah almost 2 years ago, but still enjoy her puppy Jasmine which we kept. Last year we rescued a lab/chow mix which had been living in a hoarders house. My heart broke when I saw him & we immediately rescued him. Riley is now a healthy energetic dogs that we absolutely love.
I've been married to my wonderful husband for almost 30 years now and we have one son who is 24 years old. We have a very stable home environment & I would have no worries with spending some nights away. I keep a very neat home & will also keep your home neat & clean while you are away. Also I am a very honest & reliable person.
We live in Watertown & have a large fenced in back yard with a pool. We also have the very important "dog pool" - summers are wonderful for the dogs & us. We spend a lot of time "dog sitting". My sister & her boyfriend are moving to Texas in January & are spending time flying back and forth. I just finished watching their dog for 11 days while they were in Texas. She has special foods & ear drops which I used on her. So, I had 3 dogs with no problems. They each had outdoor fun time with throwing the ball & toys twice daily, beside all the bathroom breaks. I have several friends that know if they call me to watch their dog, I'm there. The more the merrier !!
In closing, I would like to say that I am a very reliable person & have given millions.... of insulin injections to humans. Dogs are similar with the subcutanous skin for injection sites. I have no problem with this. I also understand how important the feeding schedule must be, proper hydration & watching for signs or symptoms of high/low blood sugars. Please consider me for this position. I would love to make new "pet" friend.
