Hi! I’m Melody- I am an elementary school teacher, mom, and step mom looking to help out for a local family a few days a month! I am available weekday evening, select hours for weekends and school holidays. I have my children with me on a rotating schedule, and would love to have your child(ren) along with us for the fun of our day, or on days I do not have my children, I am free to come to your home to be with yours! My kids are 4, 6, and 8 and they’re very social, creative, and fun! If you’re looking for homework help or tutoring I hold a bachelor’s degree in elementary education, a masters degree in curriculum and instruction, and a masters degree in educational leadership. With 16 years of experience from preschool through 5th grade, I have a firm grasp of educational concepts, engaging activities for Read more kids, and developmentally appropriate play. Additionally, being a parent myself, there is nothing that will shock me or stop me In my tracks- I am happy to help with feeding, sleep schedules, extracurricular activities, and anything else you can think of! Personally I love animals of all kinds, volunteer with an animal rescue, love to exercise and read, prefer to be outdoors anytime I can, and really enjoy just being fun and silly with the kids! I am open to watching children in my home or yours, dependent on my children’s schedule. I look forward to speaking with and getting to know you!
