Hi hi , my name is Mel , and I am 23 years old. I was never officially paid for babysitting when I was younger but I was left in charge sometimes because I liked to play with the other kids even if they were younger than me. When I turned 18 , I was hired by LAUSD as an after school teacher/caretaker. There I would take care of children from 1st grade to 5th from 2pm until 6pm . Later on in life , I worked for LACCD , for a daycare as one of the teachers aids for a class of 2-3 year olds. Since covid I unfortunately haven’t been working with kids as much as before but I still tried even if it was in little moments. My last job , I worked at Disneyland , which is considered a magical place for both children and adults Read more . I was able to create special moments for many but , I was always extra happy when it was a special moment for a child. I learned early on that children bring me such joy , I believe that it is important how one treats kids and I think it is special that each kid is different.
