We are looking for a part time caregiver for our teenage son. Duties include serving lunch or dinner meal (no cooking), assisting our son with hand washing, bathing (in evening hours), toileting, dressing, brushing teeth, supervising to ensure safety (ex.he may try to wander outside; may try to touch water in aquarium), making sure he doesn’t hurt himself (get too close to furniture) as he bounces on exercise ball, having conversation and interact/play with our son-he likes for others to doodle, talk to him, even if he doesn’t engage in direct eye contact (parallel play), accompany him in casual walks outside.

Caregiver must be willing to listen to musical instruments (sometimes for extended amounts of time) as our son plays music as part of his sensory integration and it can get loud while other moments he prefers complete silence. Experience working with neurodivergent children a plus but not required. Caregiver must speak English.
