**This position is paid through IHSS Ventura County In-Home Support Services, (requires background check, social security id card, and orientation training). $18.25 / hour at 33 hours per week. We cannot pay provider out of pocket.**

We need hands-on care for my disabled mother in Ojai (cognitive and physical disability). We prefer someone who can handle light housekeeping. She needs occasional assistance with bathing, dressing, and medication schedules. Additional responsibilities include meal preparation, companionship, and encouraging her to do physical therapy exercise and stay active. You will also be responsible for transporting her to/from appointments. We might ask you to run errands or help her feed pets now and then. Preferences for a caregiver who is a non-smoker, comfortable with pets and CPR / first-aid trained, who can lift 50lbs and assist with mobility.
